Founded in 1988, Valley Health Foundation (formerly the VMC Foundation) supports O’Connor Hospital (OCH) and the health of the communities it serves. VHF is a nonprofit leader in community health and healthcare that fundraises to support, innovate, and advocate better health for all in Santa Clara County. Volunteers at O’Connor Hospital have a long tradition of bringing comfort and care to patients, families and loved ones. Volunteers enhance the service resources provided at O’Connor Hospital. Since the program began in 1952 our volunteers have donated more than 2 million hours of service.
Being an O’Connor Volunteer offers many benefits to those who participate, including opportunities to give back to our community and exposure to the hospital environment for those interested in healthcare careers.
