INPATIENT STROKE SERVICES

Our inpatient services department has a designated stroke unit with private rooms for patients recovering from a stroke. Nurses with special training and experience in stroke recovery care for patients in this unit. We are dedicated to providing the best outcome possible for all stroke patients. 

Our inpatient program is focused on:

• Primary and Secondary stroke prevention through education and treatment of modifiable risk factors
• Evaluation and treatment of the underlying cause(s) of the stroke
• Prevention of stroke extension and recurrence
• Stroke rehabilitation through:
  • Physical therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Speech Language Pathology
    • Swallowing Evaluation and treatment
    • Cognitive Evaluation and re-training
    • Speech Evaluation and training
    • Depression Screening

OUTPATIENT STROKE SERVICES

Our outpatient services include:

• Evaluation and care of disabilities caused by strokes, including physical and psychological problems
• Outpatient services include:
  • Physical therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Speech Language Pathology
    • Swallowing Evaluation and treatment
    • Cognitive Evaluation and re-training
    • Speech Evaluation and training
